We had a great time today with Mark & Krista and Gavin, Kendra & her kiddos today at a local pumpkin patch. The weather was perfect and so was our time there.
Here is the pumpkin that we finally settled on.

Not only was this a pumpkin patch, it was a full blown farm. They had pigs there and the girls loved it! Grace kept waving to them and saying "hi piggies, you're so cute!"
This pig was particularly friendly with Grace. He kept sticking his nose through the fence and Grace would get all excited.
There was a hayride (or "hair-ride" as Grace call it) that took you directly to the pumpkin patch. The girls loved it! I'm sure that they would have loved to ride it for more time.

Well no one but me is looking in this picture, but oh well. Grace is always so fascinated by Gavin that she can't really pay attention to anything going on around her.
Joy loved running (or as she says "I run") through the field. She would stop every so often to inspect the pumpkins.

Oh what a fun day going to the Pumpkin Patch. It is so good to see our Grace and Joy and Gavin having fun together with friends and family. I like the pumpkin you picked...looks like a great Jack-O-Lantern to be.
Grace, I love little piggies also, I lived on the farm where we could go to the pig pen and watch them. I wasn't too sure about the mommie pigs though...they never let us get to close to their piglets. As they grow up though, their pens begin to get very smelly. Did the pigs say 'oink, oink" to you? That is saying, "Hi Grace--Hi Joy".
So glad all of your family had fun at the pumpkin patch. Fall is a beautiful time. Love to all of you, GGMA & GGPA Frandsen

I just love coming to your site, and looking at your girls grow! Joy's hair is getting so long!! They are both such cutie pies!!! I'm tellin ya girl, you need to keep them little as long as you can!!! Not that you have a choice, but one day you'll look at them on wonder where the time went!! They grow so fast!!!
