For those of you who don't know, we moved to Nebraska this week. We made it in a little under 12 hours, and overall the girls did really really well in the car. I think it helped that we stopped at a Burger King for lunch and let them play at the little play area (even though they creep me out with all of the nasty germs that are on those play places!).
We still have a very LONG way to go before we are unpacked and settled, but we're getting there slowly. The garage is still completely full with our stuff. I keep asking myself, why do we have so much stuff???
Grandpa Jackson had two Christmas gifts waiting for the girls. The first is a play house. It is so cute, and the lady that made it put so many details into it. The girls LOVE it and are playing in it constantly. Now I just need to find a little table and chairs to put inside of it.
The second surprise was a kitchen. When Grace opened it she got so excited. For those of you who know her well just imagine her saying this next phrase in her high excited pitched voice. And I quote "OH dear, Oh my. Set it up guys. Be careful!" She was SO excited to get this kitchen. She loves to play restaurant and pretend that she is Rachael Ray (can you guess which cooking show I watch regularly?) so she was more than ecstatic to get a kitchen. Joy is more into the playhouse at this point, but I'm sure she'll be into the kitchen more and more as the days go by.
The girls were tuckered out after so much excitement and travel. They started out in separate mattresses (their beds aren't set up yet), but when we went to check on them we found them sleeping together. Too cute!

Can Nate and I come and play in the house? We love the address on the front. Maybe while were there Grace can use her new kitchen and make us some yummy food!
Grandpa Jackson doesn't know yet just what he is in for...oh, what fun. He had wonderful gifts waiting for the girls...and so good to see them sleeping and resting for the excitement.
