Today we went to our good friend/almost family member Shar's, pool. We had a great time, the weather was perfect and both girls LOVE the water.
Before we even went to the pool, I had the girls try on their swimsuits just to make sure they fit. When I told Grace it was time to take hers off and put on some clothes she plainly told me "No, suit only." So she only wore her bathing suit around all morning, anxiously awaiting her first swim of the season.
Both girls with their sun hats on. Of course Grace wouldn't keep hers on - no surprise there.
Grace on her turtle raft that Grandpa Jackson (or Poppa Jack as Grace calls him) bought for her. She loves it, and mind you did a good job sharing with another girl that was there.

Joy had so much fun swimming that she fell asleep on Staci's shoulder while sitting on the pool steps.
All in all we had a great day, both girls are wiped out and taking a nap. YEA for mommy time! Wait...I might just go take a nap myself.

Thanks for inviting us swimming Grace and Joy! Jaime and I had so much fun playing with you both in the pool. Just think in about a week we'll be spending a lot of time in the pool by our campsite! I can't wait!!! See you soon!

No, no nap yet, and what am I thinking, I probably won't get one either. Maybe the book is a better possibility. I'm in the middle of that Debbie Macomber book you lent me. It's great so far! See you later tonight!
Darcie when you come out here you are going to have to show me how to do this. If I get pregnant sooner then christmas you will have to come out sooner to show me. :) What a great way to communicate. You just did that today and were able to get everything on there sooo fast.

I'm so glad that you and John are looking at our blog. We are so bummed that in a few short weeks it will be a year since we've last seen you guys!! That is way way way to long. You aren't planning any trips to Chicago in the near future are you?
I hope you get pregnant sooner than Christmas, not just so I can see you sooner, but because you are going to make an incredible mommy!

Wow, wouldn't it be nice to look so 'cute' in a bathing suit. Model them while you can...and enjoy the pool and the adoration of the many friends. GGMA F
