Boy this was a tough past week. Dad came in on Saturday the 12th and stopped by our house. That was a good thing. But then things started to deteriorate the rest of the weekend. See Thursday Grace had gotten sick out of the blue. She chucked like 3 times and then she was done. Joy got sick on Friday and chucked up her milk quite a few times but it was hard to tell how bad she was since she can't talk and all. So on Sunday night Darcie didn't feel well when she went to sleep. She ended up getting up in the middle of the night and got sick. She proceeded to chuck several times later on through Monday afternoon.
I got up early that Monday morning to get to work early so I could be home early and spend more time with Dad since he was coming back to our house that afternoon after being up at Grandma and Grandpa J's house. As it approached the time for me to leave I started to not feel so good. I finally made the decision to call in sick and not 15 minutes later the inevitable happened to me too, an attack from both ends.
When Dad got down he thought he would be able to help out with the kids and avoid getting sick, but sure enough 2 hours later he was kneeling over the bowl also. So needless to say it was not the super sweet week I had hoped for with Dad being here, but I guess you can't avoid everything. Wednesday was really our only healthy day with Dad around which was kind of a bummer, but at least we all celebrated our health again by loading up at Logan's with big juicy steaks!!!
Now we are feeling better and Joy is certainly happy that we are back to normal. While we were sick both Joy and Grace didn't really get much attention. Poor bebe's were pretty much left to fend for themselves while me and Darc were trying to recover. But now we are all feeling much better and we are started to get back in our routine. We were not able to take many photos this week for obvious reasons but we did get a couple. One of happy Joy and me.
Joy really liked being high up, she was laughing really hard and Grace's excitement over her being so high up on Daddy's shoulders added to Joy's giggles, but we missed it in the picture.
Anyway, like I said. We are all feeling much better and we apologize to all who joined us in our sickness. I know there were a whole slew of people who got sick this last week, I have to believe that it was all on that fateful Saturday with all of us interacting with Grace who had gotten sick a day or two earlier but showed no real signs of sickness other than a 3 hour chunk on that Thursday. Hope everyone is feeling better now and hope that your schedules are all back to normal.

The poor Jackson clan! You all have been sick so much this year. I'm glad you're all getting back to normal now. I'll pray that God keeps you healthy, especially since our big trip is approaching very quickly! Adorable pictures of you and Joy! She is getting so big!
Talk to you soon!
Sounds like a pretty 'chuck-up' week...so glad to live 65miles away. Sorry it was such a downer during your Dad's visit. It is so special for him to come so far to play with his little granddaughters. We know he loves them, as we all do. Hope all of the clan & friends are feeling better and stay well awhile. We love all of you, and love the new pictures...Joy is such a sweetie too. Oh, those beautiful big eyes. Loving you all, GGpa & GGma F.
