Merry Christmas to everyone! We hope you had a wonderful day with family and friends. We had our best Christmas as a family to date. We opened presents at our house, in the company of Grandpa Jackson (much to Grace's delight.) Grandpa got her a Barbie laptop and she freaked out. She loves to pretend to "work" on the computer so this just made her entire year when she had her own 'puter as she likes to say. Of course the laptop had like ten twisty ties on it so it took forever to get out of the box. She was hysterical while he was trying to get it out of the box. She kept saying "Come on Grandpa, just push it out of the box," "Good job Grandpa you can do it!" It was so cute. Quite the little encourager at only 2.
We then went to my parents to open presents with my side of the family. Joy slept through the first half of presents, not that it really mattered to her. She is still a little young to "get into" Christmas. Grace had fun accepting presents on Joy's behalf. My brother and sister-in-law got Grace a Dora doll, and boy did she ever flip out. We thought she was going to hyperventilate, she was so excited. As soon as she realized, what was in the box she started jumping up and down and screaming. She promptly yelled "Get it out Uncle Mark, hurry hurry, I need to hold Dora. Oh I love her!" It was so adorable. Of course the Dora doll had at least ten twisty ties on that as well. Just a side note, why must toy companies put SO many darn twisty ties on their toys. Seriously, cut the parents a break! There is no need for that many, three will do. Whew...now that is off my chest I can move on.
We had a great Christmas day that was very fun and relaxing as well. We hope you experienced similar feelings on this special day. We missed those of you who we couldn't be with today.
Here's to after Christmas shopping!

Blessings and love to all of our dear family this Christmas. We are so glad for the beautiful celebration of love, the excitment of Grace's Christmas, the contentment of Joy, the exhaustion of parents, the touch and gifting of Aunt/Uncle, the pride of Grandparents, the sharing of friends, the thanksgiving for life and the healing power of God, and the LOVE that comes from our dear Saviour's birth. We love you all. GGpa & GGma Frandsen
Great to see you all yesterday!
Greetings from Nebraska! I told Nate that Grace got a Barbie computer. I think he was a little jealous. We can't wait to see all of her goodies! I can just see her yelling at Mark. Those twisty things are annoying! Just wait...there will be more and more of those as the girls get more fun toys every birthday and Christmas!
