GO BLUE!!!

For Rich's birthday I purchased tickets to a U of M game and the day finally arrived - October 6. Now when I bought the tickets back in August I thought to myself, "oh this is going to be great, an October game. It will probably cold enough so I can wear my nice comfy sweatshirt, maybe get some hot cocoa while I'm there as well." Ha was I ever wrong! It was literally 90 degrees that day with humidity. IT WAS SO HOT! I haven't sweat that bad, in well I can't remember the last time.

Even though it was like a million degrees we had a great time with Nate & Staci. Staci & I had never been there before, so it was a really cool experience for us to be in the stadium for the first time. Michigan won, which is always a plus, and we witnessed Michael Hart breaking the school record in rushing yards. So when we're really old and our grand kids ask us about Michael Hart, we'll be able to say that we were at the game when he broke the record. Wow I'm starting to sound old now. Here are some pictures from our fun day:
OK, so I'm totally embarrassed that I put this pictures on here, but Rich was insistent that it be added. This is me pumping in the car because I'm still nursing Joy, and she obviously wasn't with us. Oh the things we do for our children.

The band on the field before the game started. They were much better than the Eastern Michigan band.

Kickoff!

Touchdown - MICHIGAN!!

Outside of the stadium. Notice my majorly sunburned face.

Our great friends - Nate & Staci. You guys are the best. Now why don't we ever take pictures of the 4 of us? Oh well there is always next time.

A special thanks goes out to Myra & Abby for watching our kids for 12 long hours! You guys are so great. Thanks again!!!

That was such a fun game! Thanks for inviting us to come. We can't wait until next year. Hopefully it won't be as hot. I really had a lot of fun with you and Rich on the way down. Love the pumping picture too! Oh the memories..."That's what she said!" :)

We love you guys! Go Blue!

So glad you 4 had such a good time together...and the girls were well cared for at home. Can't really comment about the game, as Football is not one of Great Grandma's favorite. I'd rather see the next pictures of Joy and Grace. love you all. GGma & GGpa F.
