We had Joy dedicated last Sunday and yes I'm just now getting around to posting about it. It's been a crazy week, what can I say. Anyways, it was great day knowing that we have given her over to the Lord (well formally now) and having family and friends surround us with support. For those of you who couldn't make it, we totally understand but know that you were missed.
Uncle Dennis praying over Joy, although Joy wasn't too happy about it. She was HUNGRY!
After church we went to my parents for some lunch. Of course Grace had to wear my high heels around. Probably someday we'll have the same size feet and she'll be stealing my shoes like I used to steal my mom's. Oh wait did I say used to, I meant I still do steal them occasionally. Love you mom! :)
Joy couldn't crawl around in her dress, so we had to strip her down to her diaper.
On the way home Joy was overly tired and wouldn't stop screaming. So we didn't what any good parent would do - give her an empty bottle of Mt. Dew. A girl after my own heart.

Congratulations on Joy's dedication! What a happy day! They looked so beautiful at church, and you and Rich looked very nice too! We will continue to pray for your girls as they grow in Christ's love. We love you guys and thanks for letting us be part of Joy's special day!
Oh...the picture of the Mountain Dew bottle...priceless. She is a Jackson!
While we were not able to be present at Joy's dedication, we do thank God for her life, and lift her in prayer before Him. We pray that this family, as they dedicate this young one, will grow in love and service to Him, and His blessings flow upon them. GGpa & GGma F.
