Rich surprised me (well sort of) with tickets to Dancing with the Stars for my birthday. I say I was sort of surprised because I had guessed that. Although you know Rich, he had to try and trick me. He presented me with "tickets" to a Dave Matthews Band concert, whom I also enjoy. After about a minute I figured that they were fake tickets, and then that is when he pulled out these babies. I was so excited. If we weren't in a restaurant I probably would have started jumping up and down.
We went out to Outback Steakhouse before the show. Mmmm...steak!
In our seats at the show.

We were seated in the 2nd level, which were really good seats. Not the best for picture taking, but we could see really well. The dance floor was HUGE. See those tiny red tables down there, one seat at one of those cost $150! We decided next time the tour comes around we are splurging for one of those seats.
They did a bunch of group and couple dances. Needless to say they were all incredible!

Awesome Latin number. I wish we would have video recorded it - it was just simply amazing.
It is really hard to see in this picture, but behind me is a screen at the B.O.B (a building with restaurant and bars) with the marque of Dancing with the Stars.
When we got back to my parents house, this is how we found the girls - totally passed out! They must of had a fun time playing with G & G.
Thanks mom and dad for babysitting, and thanks Rich for an awesome evening! It was one of the best birthday presents I've ever received.

Rich and I have decided to take ball room dancing lessons this fall - not necessarily because of the show. It is going to be so fun. Now we just have to remember to sign up. :)

Great news! It will be fun for the two of you to have a special night each week and the fun and excersize that you get from dancing is also good! I only wish I could be there to babysit! DARN.
The pictures of the girls are also cute - glad you kids had so much fun and blessings for many more exciting times ahead.
Love you all. Mom B
What a wonderful birthday present Darc. You have a fabulous husband! I'm glad the two of you had a fun night out on the town. You both deserve it, but especially the birthday girl! I can't wait to see what you both learn from your lessons! Maybe we'll see you on Dancing with the Stars! Happy Birthday!
P.S.-Grace and I were checking out your blog and she said, "Mommy pretty!" when she saw your picture! She is so much fun!
Thanks Rich for making such a beautiful Birthday for our Darcie. May God's love and blessings be on your lives together. You are only at the beginning of a long and happy marriage...make every moment count. We thank God as this summer we celebrate 56 years...may yours be as blessed. Grandma & Grandpa F.
Just caught up with you guys. Great pictures. Thanks for all the updates. Looks like you had a wonderful vacation. Wondering when Doug is here?
Happy (belated) Birthday Darcie! Looks like Rich really did it up this year.
Always enjoy seeing your sweet family - such a blessing that brings joy to my heart.
With love . . .
