Boy, I must say. Grace and I sure have been beaten up lately. Here you can see Grace had a black eye, which most of you saw at her birthday party. She fell right on to the handle bar of the car that she rides on. She likes to draw even more attention to herself even if that means hurting herself, well not really, but sometimes it does seem that way.
If that picture was not a good enough one, maybe you can enjoy this picture of Gracie finishing her birthday PB&J sandwich at her party, it also feature a quite black and blue left eye.
Now here is my leg. For those of you that remembered my super sweet first aid abilities when Charlie's leg was hurt, you can see I implemented the same tactics here. It is a very Jerry Rigged way of bandaging myself up but hey it works.
Here is the wound uncovered and grossed out. It keeps scabbing over and then I put more ointment on it and then it opens up and oozes again, and then scabs over again. It keeps getting a little better each time. Hopefully in another year or two it should be totally healed up. Darc says I am just being a little too dramatic but hey, it hurts and when your leg hurts and inconveniences your life a bit it seems like it takes forever, Am I right?
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed my super gross leg, and Gracie's eye. She has since healed up but I will be working hard to get back on my feet (ha) soon.

EXTREMELY GROSS Rich...
I'm sorry I didn't realize it was so serious (sometimes you DO tend to "over dramatize" so one can't be sure). I hope you continue to take care of it, keeping it cleaned and let the air get to it at night to speed up healing too. It will only look bad for a couple days, it shouldn't remain red either - if it does...go to the doctor! Don't want infection! MOM B
Wow...you certainly were wounded. I didn't realize Darcie could kick that hard. Take care and follow your Mom's advise. Grandma Shirley
(Frandsen that is, since you do have two Grandma Shirley)
