The results for the 2006 Wife of the Year came a bit late this year after the forerunner to win the prize Kalie O'Baley of West Williamson, PA turned out to be a fake. She fooled the judges for many months into believing she had accomplished a laundry list of good deeds for her husband, family, and the community. Upon closer inspection the panel of judges found that not only did Kalie not have a family, her and her husband were "on a split" and she had little community investments. So deservingly the real winner has been announced, albeit late. The Winner of the 2006 Wife of the Year is Darcie Jackson of the Tri-Cities Michigan Area.
As well as being a leading innovator in Child Caring and community involvement, she has also gone above and beyond the judges requirements for this prize as well as her husbands expectations of her. Few women meet the judges requirements, and the competition from there was fierce, but one stood head and shoulders above the rest. Below is Darcie with her prize along with the N.A.B.W.'s statement.
The National Association for Better Wives (N.A.B.W.) has granted Darcie Jackson the prize of Wife of the Year for 2006 due to her excellence in Wife hood. She has demonstrated exceptional wife skills in: Care, Grace, Hotness, Teacher, Peace, Patience, Boldness, Strength, Endearment, Humor, Fun, Positivism, Supporter, Encourager, Compassion, Understanding, Cooking, and above all else Love for the people in her life, community, and especially her Husband. The N.A.B.W. would like to congratulate Darcie on this high honor and looks forward to her standings in 2007 as she raises the bar for Wives everywhere.

Yes, Yes, we'll agree that the judges hit it right on...after all Darcie Marie Jackson had the best of the best roll models. Her Mom is the greatest, and who would know better than Grandma F. Love you all..
Congratulations Darcie on winning "Wife of the Year" for 2006. I am so proud of you and your accomplishments as a wife and a mother. I look forward to seeing you take the title again in 2007. Maybe this year it will be televised. Congratulations again! :)
I don't know Staci, you're a pretty strong contender yourself for 2007. It looks like I'll be facing some stiff competiton this year.
Darc
We'll see. I'm really working hard in the area of cooking. I think that will be the hardest area of competition for me. You also have the kid thing going for you. No matter what happens with the competition, we'll always be close friends! :)
